1.     Labour’s 43% of vote a lead of nearly 13% over Cons (similar to 1983)
  1. Swing of 10.5% to Lab largest since the war
  2. Con vote of 31% lowest C20th
  3. Overall Majority of 179 largest in C20th
  4. 419 MP’s largest ever number for Labour
  5. Conservatives lowest number of MP’s since 1906
  6. No Labour free zone. E.g. Hove(seaside), Wimbledon (wealthy suburb), Stroud (semi-rural)
  7. Many Conservative free zones. E.g. Scotland Wales and all cities outside London
  8. The number of 3rd party MP’s since War (46 Lib Dem’s)
  9. At 26%, second highest non 2 party vote since WWII
