Structure of Thought – Meta-ethics

Meta-ethics is the branch of ethics which seeks to understand the nature of moral language and assertions (from the Greek prefix ‘Meta,’ meaning beyond). It is in contrast with normative ethics, which considers the standards for the ‘rightness’ or ‘wrongness’ of particular actions.
