Veritatis Splendor 1995
Veritatis Splendor (1995) strikes a more conservative note after the liberalization of the catholic Church after Vatican II (1967). It’s also striking that Gaudem at Spes hardly mentions natural law, whereas Veritas Splendor returns to the Thomist idea that actions are intrinisically good or bad, depending on their object.
