Complete Philosophy Courses Online

Maybe you’ve stumbled on this site and want to study philosophy in your own time.  Well this site is a great place to start – www.uri.edu

Here is a complete history of philosophy and philosophy of film course from a leading US University – utm.edu

An American academic, Garth Kemmerling, has produced an outstanding summary of the History of Philosophy. If you are interested in how philosophy developed, and in the interconnections between different eras and thinkers, this would be another great place to begin – philosophypages.com

You can also ask a practising philosopher a question on the site below.  I don’t think you should be embarrassed at asking even apparently simple questions.  Some questions though are nonsense “what colour is the wind?”, others betray great ignorance “why did John Stuart Mill support Adolf Hitler?” , and others betray laziness “could you answer the following five questions for me which are my assignments for this year?” – so it’s worth thinking carefully about your question, and then…go for it! – askaphilosopher.wordpress.com

There is an excellent library of e-texts of many major philosophical works. – philosophyarchive.com
