It’s the AS retake season again. Don’t worry help is at hand as a Revision Guide is available as a book (hard copy) or for your PC, kindle or ipad!

I have written an AS revision guide which is now available as a hard copy book through lulu (£7.99), or as a kindle book for your PC (see below for download details), ipad, kindle or iphone (priced at £4.24). The Amazon link is below.

The idea of the guide is to give you the structure of the argument and main areas which you should consider. If you need to flesh any part out further you can find additional materials on the website. The guide includes:

• Key quotes to learn, from both the original philosophers and academics.

• Confusions to avoid – some of the most usual confusions people fall into – often encouraged by over -generalising textbooks.

• Worldviews to understand. To understand philosophers you must understand the assumptions and worldview they inhabit. For example, does this cartoon make any sense to you? If not, read the guide!

• Key terms defined. You must be confident about using the technical language clearly and correctly.

An A2 version will be available shortly, covering all the major themes in the OCR syllabus.
We will also publish one for Philosophy of Religion (AS and A2).
