Israeli Government Pressured to Resign

The Israeli opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s government demanding the coalition resign over the shortage of basic food products in supermarkets.
Herzog said,”Israeli citizens shopping in supermarkets and grocery stores cannot find vegetables, fruits and meat. The yield of the land is gone.” Herzog said, “the shortage of vegetables, meat and basic food products has become rampant.” He blamed the shortages on government policy which “destroyed Israeli agriculture, suppressed farmers and caused them heavy losses.” He claimed that the shortages were hitting ordinary Israeli’s in their pockets.
